About Me
Hi, I'm Jenna. My passion for helping children and young people's mental health led me to set up The Wellbeing Club, here in Greater Manchester. I believe in a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing, which is why The Wellbeing Club offers a range of services to suit everyone.
I have a degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies from a BABCP accredited university course. I have also completed a wide variety of training including Level 3 Safeguarding and GDPR compliance/data protection and keep up to date with any new information.
I've worked in children's mental health for over 9 years in a variety of settings. I've worked on NHS-funded services, supporting children and young people in schools, in the community and online. I use CBT techniques to help people understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I have lots of experience using these techniques in individual therapy, as well as designing group courses and class workshops.
About The Wellbeing Club
The Wellbeing Club is a place for children and young people to explore their mental health and wellbeing in a safe space. It's a place where you can work on your mental health individually or in a group setting. The Wellbeing Club has been designed with the help and feedback of young people. If you have any ideas of what you want to see in the future, please get in touch.
Our video call one-to-one/CBT sessions are a great starting point for you to work through things and get to know your therapist.
The peer support sessions are there to supplement your personal therapy. They provide an open space for you to meet and chat to other people going through similar stuff, all in a safe, therapist guided setting.
The Wellbeing Club is based in Greater Manchester, although the online services are available nationwide.
